This Week’s Message from Touching Lives with James Merritt

James Merritt - February 4, 2018

Help Me With Worry

You can pour your bad news into a big bowl called “worry.” You will heat it up, begin to stir it up, and start to take small bites. You can eat it until you are completely sick of it and until you find yourself drowning in a sea of depression, defeat, and discouragement. Or, you can give you worries to God and let Him take care of it for you. Today, take all of your anxieties and place them into the only pair of hands big enough to handle them—God’s hands.

From Series: "So Help Me God"

Where does your help come from? In times of doubt, worry. When you are tempted? In this short teaching series, Pastor James Merritt explores the Bible's answer to certain help for our troubles. Learn to move beyond fear and to face each day confident that God Himself is helping you along the way.

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” Matthew 4:1 It is incredible to see how Jesus’ ministry was introduced to the world.
