This Week’s Message from Touching Lives with James Merritt

James Merritt - April 9, 2017

Life Beyond Busyness

Whether we realize it or not, we need each other.  For some, coming to church feeds the need to be around other people.  For others, staying home gives us that solitude we crave.  But in both cases, the focus is “me.”  Though we all get certain needs met by attending weekly services, the true purpose of the church is much greater than ourselves.  It’s about what we bring to the body and what we can do for each other.

From Series: "Life Beyond Belief"

Isn't the Christian life supposed to be, you know, extraordinary? Join Pastor Merritt as we look at our church's mission, vision and strategy, and how you can have "life beyond" the ordinary as you engage in purposeful ministry every day. An update to our church's plans for the coming years in as part of this foundational series.

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” Matthew 4:1 It is incredible to see how Jesus’ ministry was introduced to the world.
